STORY

Born in Shropshire, my work grew out of a background in sport, time spent in the outdoors, and an early instinct to use photography as a way of capturing the natural world. From this stemmed a wider interest in film, and visuals shaped by story.

A period studying Bioscience at university only made that clearer. I felt drawn towards the kind of work that felt most natural to me, building stories and creating visuals that feel grounded in something real.

That became the basis of Max Baker Media: a practice centred on thoughtful visual storytelling for brands, athletes, and outdoor-led projects.

The focus remains. To create films and photographs sculpted by place, identity, and emotion.
